One of the finest and most usable Shaker pieces in the collection. This personal secretary was made in many sizes and distributed throughout the Shaker communities. The drop front writing surface folds up but it’s far more attractive to put lots of mini goodies in the cubby holes and leave it a bit sloppy. (The Shakers would turn over in their respective graves.) Goodies not included.
