Arguably the most beautiful piece ever made by the Shakers, and my flagship piece, this glass door cabinet was built by Brother Henry Green about 1880 in the Alfred, Ct. Community and brought to Sabbath day Lake in 1883, where it still sits today. This reproduction is as close as one might expect to get to the authentic feel and dimension of the original. Finished in Butternut and Walnut wood tones with seeded glass doors above and six dovetailed working drawers behind the lower doors. The books are phony but are easily replaced with real ones. A true delight to the collectors eye.
